Rintaro is Kas' boyfriend of two years and Yeijiro's roommate. If we had to pick two words to describe him (and apparently we do) they would have to be 'easy going'. Rin's a very good natured guy, but a weeee bit clueless. He's not magically talented, and has no idea that his floor-mates are. So far he hasn't questioned the increasingly lame excuses Kas and Yeijiro have been feeding him, but now that there's another Guardian in the building, who knows how long that'll last?

Rin's a very stable guy as well, coming from a happy home life. His father is a politician and his mother works as his father's press-agent. His little brother, Motoshi, is usually over at the apartment he shares with Yeijiro. He has an off the wall sense of humor, and tends to take life in stride. Rin has no exceptional skills in battle, as far as anyone can tell. He's been in a few school-yard fights, but lost more than he won. He also plays on the school basketball team, that being the one contact sport he can actually kick Yeiji's ass at.

We suspect that part of the reason Kasashi dates Rintaro is because he gives her the dose of 'normal' she needs. But WE love him, gifted or not.
