The Big Boss, the Head Honcho. Ikue has run the Guardianship smoothly for centuries (how long exactly, she isn't telling). She is responsible for the welfare of our world, and protects it by selecting and training every Guardian. On top of that she often covers up the messes and mass destruction they sometimes cause. How she's managed to avoid gray hairs and stress lines after all that, we still don't know.
Ikue is also Kasashi's adoptive aunt. After the death of the girl's family, Ikue recognized the potential power she possessed and brought her up to be a Guardian.
Strangely enough, Ikue has never displayed any abilities other than teleporting. Very little is known about her at all, but she always seems to know a lot more about events than she lets on. Her motives/directions for running the Guardianship are unknown, as are her reasons for creating the first-ever Guardian partnership between Kasashi and Linette.
